Oh yeah! Blogs are public.

Clay Spinuzzi responded to my blog post about using him as my role model. I'm simultaneously embarrassed and thrilled. He very nicely gave me advice about how everything's productive--even failures. You can read and benefit from his wisdom here. It's excellent advice, and I should probably post to his blog and thank him. Maybe I could even offer to buy him a cup of coffee (although that would involve crossing the river.) My conscious mind knows that what he says is true, but fear isn't rational. Becky never said a truer thing when she pointed out that we all fear being exposed as the charlatans we are. I feel better that so many of us are in the self-doubt boat together, but it's not like the crowd is encouraging me to jump out and swim. So while I'm definitely going to take Spinuzzi's advice to heart, I'm still sticking with the mantra to deal with the irrational part of my brain--be more like Spinuzzi--be more like Spinuzzi.
